This 7 minute english version from the project Documentation Pandemic, covers the swedish pandemic preparedness from different points of view during 2006 and 2007. Leading swedish experts, representatives from the relevant authorities and the man on the street reflect and comment on the threat of a future pandemic and how to prepare for it. Experts from the European centre for disease prevention and control (ECDC) gives an european perspective on the need for a joint pandemic preparedness. The film also illustrates how the spanish flu hit Swdeden in 1918-1920, putting todays swedish pandemic preparedness into a historical perspective.
